Diarrhea has always been one of the most often-encountered and economically important illnesses in calf breeding. During the first weeks after birth these digestion disorders can entail serious difficult-to-solve problems.
Calves are born without immunity against infectious diseases. Later on, colostrum creates a passive immunity but will loose its efficiency little by little.
The calf needs several weeks to develop its own immunity against infections.
Weaning from colostrum happens when passive immunity is still weak. And massive stress factors like separation from mother, placement in a new stable, new feeding and eventually transportation and exposure to strains of bacteria will lead to further weakening of the immune system and as a result to an increased liability to diseases.

RoCoSal plus calf paste is a very tasty feed additive for calves; as a special egg-powder-mix it increases the breeding or fattening animal’s immunity by means of natural immunoglobulines (antibodies).

RoCoSal plus calf paste is given orally by a 60 ml dosage injector. One Injector does for two calves.
