Deutsche Vilomix is now certified as to the AEO directives - one of the first plants in the sector of feed. The main Customs office in Osnabrueck has confirmed the fulfilment of certain security standards. In the future that means customs clearance processes with customers in third countries will be easier and faster. As a result, the company is now registered with German Customs as an Authorized Economic Operator with AEOF status.

The certification of companies as authorized economic operators (AEO) is one of the main targets of the Customs Security Initiative of the EU. The target is to protect all supply chains from dangers such as terrorist attacks. Accredited AEOs such as Deutsche Vilomix Tierernährung GmbH have the possibility of receiving clearances for customs processes without needing repeated checks. The accreditation as an AEO means high standards for
reliability, payment, and fulfilment of certain customs regulations..
